Who is Landscaping New Zealand? Minimize

The Landscape Industries Association of New Zealand Inc (Landscaping New Zealand) is an Incorporated Society whose mandate is to represent professionals practising:

1.  landscape design
2.  landscape construction; and
3.  maintenance of landscapes

We have members throughout New Zealand, whose work is assessed for quality standard to qualify for admission.
  
We are active in the training and education of our members.
 
Our bi-annual industry Awards reflect our members high standards.

What our Members do Minimize

Members are individuals and companies in private practice offering:

- landscape consultancy
- design
- construction; and
- maintenance services

Our members specialise in all types of landscape:

- residential
- commercial; and
- civic

Gardens are an oasis in our private and public spaces. They make a valuable investment to a property.

To maximise the site potential a three stage process is needed:

1. design
2. build; and
3. maintenance

Landscaping New Zealand members will specialise in one or all of these processes

At the design stage, members work with their clients to design a plan that takes into consideration key factors such as construction requirements, plants that will flourish and any technology that may be required.

The construction stage is to build the landscape to meet the design - on time and on budget.
maintenance
Once the garden has been finished, maintenance is critical for the garden to reach its full potential and to continue to be the visual symphony it was designed to be.

Landscaping New Zealand members can make outdoor art such as sculptures a feature of the garden.

Features such as waterfalls and fountains add the all-important water element, and are an aural delight.

Landscapes can be a visual delight at night with all-weather lighting systems creating stunning visual effects.

Night lighting can also be an effective safety and security system - allowing you to enjoy your garden at night.
