More than a job

More than a job

PROFESSIONALISM is a word that Registered Master Landscapers talk about a lot and it’s one of the major reasons many of our members join our organisation. Being a member of RML says something about you and your business.

PROFESSIONALISM is an idea we are passionate about, and it is an ideology we uphold and our members exemplify.

When our members turn up on site, they know they are professionals of their trade.

When homeowners choose to work with a member of Registered Master Landscapers they do so because they want to work with someone, they can trust to get the job done right, who is at the top of their profession.

When the industry looks at the work of Registered Master Landscapers, they recognise that it has been delivered to the highest professional standard.

Traits of a professional person are:

  • reliable
  • trustworthy
  • killed at what they do and
  • working to a high standard or quality.

Every day, members of Registered Master Landscapers around New Zealand deliver the highest workmanship and carefully manage client relationships and their teams with honesty, consistency, and efficiency.

Our members value the education and ongoing professional development of their employees, providing promising and diverse career paths, through apprenticeship programmes, on the job training and mentorship.

And how do we know that our members meet professional standards? Every member goes through an assessment as part of their application to ensure they meet our high standards and that they have the qualifications and or experience required to be a member of Registered Master Landscapers.

Landscaping is more than a job. It’s a PROFESSION that offers diverse and rewarding career paths for those that are passionate about our industry. And it’s a highly valuable one that takes a lot of skill, attention to detail and hard mahi.
